Windows and Doors Brothers LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is a Florida limited liability company (Doc# L23000390002). We build and install custom windows and doors from our workshop at 115 Jackson Ave, Rockaway, NJ 07866. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy explains what we collect through thewindowdoor.com and our in-person and phone interactions, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain English — if anything is unclear, email [email protected].

- Contact & project details — name, email, phone, property address, and the project notes you provide via our quote form, estimate booking, or contact form.
- Order information — the configurations you build, items in your cart, and the details needed to fulfill and install an order.
- Communications — emails, calls, and messages you send us, including warranty and return requests.
Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Local storage — your cart and cookie preferences are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device, not on our servers, until you submit an order or request.
3. How we use your information
- To schedule and perform in-home measures, prepare quotes, and fulfill orders.
- To communicate with you about quotes, orders, installs, and warranty or return requests.
- To honor our warranty and meet legal, tax, and licensing obligations.
- To improve our website and services through aggregated, analytics-based insights.
- To send you newsletters or offers only if you opt in — you can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver products and services you request), legitimate interests (to run and improve our business safely), consent (for optional analytics cookies and marketing), and legal obligation (tax, warranty, and contractor-licensing records).
7. How long we keep it
We keep order, install, and warranty records for the length of the applicable warranty plus any period required by law (typically up to 10 years for workmanship records). Quote and inquiry data that doesn't lead to an order is deleted or anonymized within 24 months. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising (which we do not do).
9. How we protect your data
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and vetted processors — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to notify you and the authorities of any breach as required by law.
10. Children's privacy
Our site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, notified to you directly.
